The Empowerment Program for Girls is a support group, a weekly workshop, and a creative space dedicated to the upliftment of teen girls in Kibera.

With the increase of domestic and sexual abuse of girls in the midst of the pandemic, the Inuka team implemented The Empowerment Program for Girls (TEPG) in 2021.

TEPG runs as a weekly workshop that offers discussion-based lessons, sanitary pads, entrepreneurship, and job readiness training for participants. A core component of the curriculum is the Internship Residency program which includes professional development and entrepreneurship training for girls in the program. The residencies cover multiple disciplines including fashion design, information technology, and creative arts among others.
